Windhoek Jets (WIJ) and Fish River Eagles (FRE) are set to clash in the 9th match of the Richelieu T20 League at United Cricket Club Ground in Namibia on September 22. Windhoek Jets have had a strong start to the tournament, winning three matches and currently holding the second position on the points table. In their recent match against Etosha Wildcats, they secured a four-wicket win, with Jan Frylinck’s standout performance of 56 runs off 41 balls and Simon Shikonga impressing with three wickets in the bowling department.
On the other hand, Fish River Eagles have had a challenging start, losing all three matches and standing at the bottom of the points table. Their previous game resulted in a nine-wicket defeat against Namib Desert Lions, despite Lawrence Lawer’s 41 runs off 44 balls showcasing their batting strength.
