In the second T20I, England won the toss and elected to bowl. West Indies didn’t have a great start and lost the first four wickets for just 54 runs. Brandon King and Rovman Powell added 80 runs for the fifth wicket and helped the team come out of trouble. King remained unbeaten with 82 runs off 52 deliveries. The next set of batters did well, and England crossed the 100-run mark in the 14th over. However, no batter managed to convert the starts that they got. Sam Curran was promoted in the batting order and batted in the fourth position for the first time in his T20I career. He made 50 runs off 32 deliveries.
