VFB Gelsenkirchen will lock horns with PSV Aachen in the 42nd match of the ECS Krefeld T10 2023 at the Bayer Uerdingen Cricket Ground in Krefeldn on September 5. VFB Gelsenkirchen have played four matches where they have won two and are eighth in the rankings. PSV Aachen, on the other hand, have won four of their seven matches and are in fourth place.
VFB Gelsenkirchen had last squared off against Rhein-Ruhr Sports, where the toss was won by Rhein-Ruhr Sports, and they elected to bowl. Gelsenkirchen lost the first wicket in the first over just at the score of one run but did not look back from that point in time. Ace Pruss and Rohit Satapathy smashed together 155 runs and posted a huge target in front of their opponents. Sports did not start well and kept losing wickets at regular intervals, due to which they could never get going. Hence, they lost the match by a huge margin of 80 runs.
PSV Aachen had played against Bonn Blue Star in their last encounter, where Bonn Blue Star won the toss and elected to bowl. This match had some unbelievable knocks and records. PSV Aachen did not lose even a single wicket and went on to score 146 runs in the first innings, where Muaaz Hassan scored a fabulous century. In reply, batters from Blue Star chased down such a huge total with such ease. They won the match by seven wickets.
