Team Abu Dhabi will lock horns with Northern Warriors in the 6th match of the Abu Dhabi T10 League at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on November 30. Both these teams have played a match so far in the tournament, with Northern Warriors winning their game and occupying second position in the rankings, while Team Abu Dhabi lost the match and is ranked sixth in the table.
Team Abu Dhabi squared off against The Chennai Braves in their last encounter, where Team Abu Dhabi won the toss and elected to bowl. Being put to bat, the Braves started off well, with the opening pair adding 40 runs in four overs. They lost a couple of wickets at regular intervals, but Jason Roy stood his ground from one end and took his team to a good total of 115 runs. In an attempt to start aggressively, they lost wickets early and looked grim at 55 for four. A brilliant partnership for the fifth wicket did take them close, but they eventually lost the match by just four runs.
Northern Warriors played against Morrisville Samp Army in their last match, where Morrisville Samp Army won the toss, and they elected to bowl. The Warriors started well and were scoring at a good pace. They lost a couple of wickets in the middle overs but Colin Munro played a good knock down the order to take the team to a total of 103 runs. Samp Army started aggressively but, in an attempt to do so, lost wickets in a bunch. Several batters got starts, but all of them failed to capitalize, and the team fell short of the target by nine runs.
