Southern Vipers (SV) will take on THe Blaze (BLA) in the Final match of the Rachael Heyhoe Trophy 2023 at County Ground in Northampton on Sunday (September 24). Both teams have performed exceptionally well in the tournament, winning seven matches each. Southern Vipers secured the first position, while The Blaze finished in second position.
In their last game against South East Stars, Southern Vipers emerged victorious with a convincing 58-run win. Linsey Smith was the standout performer, scoring 51 runs off 58 balls, while Georgia Adams contributed with 49 runs off 61 balls. In the bowling department, Linsey Smith took three wickets, and Ava Lee and Alice Monaghan took two wickets each.
The Blaze also had a successful outing in their last match against South East Stars, winning by eight wickets. Sarah Bryce played a key role with 34 runs off 26 balls. In the bowling department, Kathryn Bryce, Kirstie Gordon, Lucy Higham, and Marie Kelly took two wickets each.
