Sydney Sixers will take on Perth Scorchers in the 41st game of the Women’s Big Bash League 2023 on Thursday (November 16) at the North Sydney Oval in Sydney. Sixers have won five out of 10 games so far and are in fifth place in the points tally. Scorchers have won seven out of 10 games and are at the top of the points table.
Both teams have nine games against each other in WBBL so far. However, the Scorchers have been in great form in the last five games and have come on top in three games.
The Sixers took on Hobart Hurricanes in their last game after chasing down the target of 140 runs on the last delivery of the match. Mathilda Carmichael played a crucial knock of 32 runs off 21 deliveries and remained unbeaten. She won the Player of the Match award here.
Scorchers defeated Sydney Thunder Women in their previous match by 42 runs. Scorchers made 159 runs for the loss of four wickets with the help of Beth Mooney’s knock of 101 runs off 61 deliveries. In reply, Thunder could make only 117 runs in 20 overs. Only three batters managed to make a double-digit score. Amy Louise Edgar was the pick of the bowlers for the Scorchers, with three wickets for 18 runs in four overs.
