Shekhawati Soldiers Sikar will lock horns with Udaipur Lakecity Warriors in the 15th match of the Rajasthan Premier League 2023 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on September 5. Shekhawati Soldiers Sikar have played four matches where they have won just one and are in the fifth position in the table. Udaipur Lakecity Warriors, on the other hand, have played three matches where they have won just one as well and are bottom of the table.
Shekhawati Soldiers Sikar had played against Jodhpur Sunrisers in their last encounter, where Jodhpur Sunrisers won the toss and elected to bowl. Soldiers lost their first wicket at the score of zero but managed to make a good comeback by back-to-back brilliant partnerships. By the end of the innings, they had posted a good total of 161 runs on the board. Soldiers started well and kept scoring regularly, keeping the required run rate in check. They had gotten a little slow in the middle overs but covered up for it towards the end and won the match by five wickets.
Udaipur Lakecity Warriors squared off against Jaipur Indians in their last match, where the toss was won by Jaipur Indians, and they elected to bat. Jaipur did not start too well, as they lost a wicket early, but a couple of good partnerships put them right back on track, and they posted a good total of 152 runs. Warriors, in their chase, were a little slow with their approach and were losing wickets at regular intervals as well. A good fifty from Aditya Garhwal also could not help them as they were bowled out for 135 runs and lost the match by 12 runs.
