
An exciting clash is on the way as South Africa (SA) takes on Australia (AUS) in the 3rd T20I of the Australia tour of South Africa 2023 at the iconic Kingsmead Cricket Ground in Durban. Australia currently leads the three-match series 2-0, and in the 2nd T20I, they delivered a commanding performance, defeating South Africa by eight wickets.

In response, the Australian openers Matt Short and Travis Head, laid a solid foundation with a 30-run partnership. Travis Head was dismissed by Lizaad Williams, but Matt Short continued to shine. Short and Mitchell Marsh formed a magnificent 100-run partnership, with Matt Short eventually falling to Tabraiz Shamsi. Australia successfully chased down the target, scoring 168 runs in just 15 overs. As South Africa seeks redemption in this crucial encounter, they’ll need to come up with a comprehensive strategy to counter Australia’s strong form.
