River Rine Club will lock horns with Titan Club in the 9th match of the Pride Cup T20 at the Amingaon Cricket Ground in Guwahati on November 15. River Rine Club has played just one match so far, which they lost and are placed sixth in the table. On the other hand, Titan Club played two games and is yet to win any and is seventh in the table.
River Rine Club had squared off against New Star Club in their last encounter, where River Rine Club won the toss and elected to bat. On a slow track, RRC lost a wicket early, which slowed down their scoring rate further, but they had a good partnership for the second wicket to make things better. With a couple of more significant partnerships, they posted a total of 135 runs on the board. New Star Club was in no mood to let the match go away and scored briskly. They eventually won the game by six wickets.
Titan Club had played against Bud CC in their last game, where Bud CC won the toss and elected to bat. Proving the decision to bat right, they started brilliantly, with the opening pair adding 60 runs. Bishal Saha led the destruction with his fierce knock of 60 runs off 37 balls, due to which they set up a strong total of 166 runs. Titan Club did not have an ideal start to the chase, losing three wickets at just 38 runs. The middle order did a good job and took some responsibility, but it proved to be too little too late, as they lost the game by 19 runs.
