Peshawar showcased their prowess in the semifinal clash against Federally Administered Tribal Areas, securing a resounding 44-run triumph. Sahibzada Farhan’s composed 69 runs, and Abbas Afridi’s impactful three-wicket haul were instrumental in propelling Peshawar to a total of 245 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 50 overs. Their bowlers followed suit, restricting Federally Administered Tribal Areas to 201 runs, securing their spot in the Final.
Meanwhile, Karachi Whites faced off against Multan in their last outing, claiming a hard-fought victory by 43 runs. Saim Ayub’s stellar 95 runs and Sohail Khan’s phenomenal four-wicket spell powered Karachi Whites to post a competitive total of 280 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in their quota of 50 overs. Despite Multan’s valiant effort, scoring 229 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 41 overs, rain intervened, and Karachi Whites were declared winners via the D/L Method.
