Northern Warriors has played four matches where they have won and lost two matches being placed at the fifth place. Bangla Tigers, on the other hand, have won just one match from the three that they have played and are placed seventh in the table.
Northern Warriors played against Chennai Braves in their last match where Chennai Braves won the toss and they elected to bowl. The Warriors started well and had an opening partnership of 76 runs. They lost three wickets in the span of the next four runs, but they did not let the scoring rate go down and posted a good total of 106 runs on the board. Braves were comparatively slow and lost a couple of wickets early but significant contributions from several middle-order batters led them to winning the match easily by five wickets.
Bangla Tigers squared off against Delhi Bulls in their last encounter where Delhi Bulls won the toss and elected to bowl. Being put to bat, the Tigers started horribly as they were tottering at the score of 38 runs at the loss of six wickets. Then they had two decent partnerships which took them to 81 runs but it was still an under-par total on this track. Bulls too did not start well and had lost three wickets at 22 runs but an unbeaten stand of 61 runs for the fourth wicket won them the match easily and with four overs to spare as well.
