New English Eagles (NEE) and New Jersey Stallions (NJS) are set to clash in the 48th match of the Minor League Cricket 2023 at Glenville Cricket Complex on August 26. NEE have experienced a mixed start in the tournament, with two wins and one loss, placing them in the 4th position on the points table. On the other hand, NJS have enjoyed a stronger start, securing three victories and currently holding the 2nd spot on the points table.
In their recent match against NJSC, NEE emerged victorious with a close three-run win. Jaladh Dua’s knock of 20 runs off 20 balls was a highlight of their batting performance. The bowling department shone with Hemendra Randihal’s impressive five-wicket haul, while Apurva Maheshram contributed with four wickets.
In their previous match, NJS suffered an 8-run defeat against NJSC. Dominique Rikhi’s contribution of 46 runs off 34 balls showcased their batting capabilities. In bowling, Stephen Wiig and Siddharth Matani took two wickets each.
