Namib Desert Lions (NDL) and Fish River Eagles (FRE) are set to clash in the 7th match of the Richelieu T20 League at United Cricket Club Ground in Namibia on September 21. Both teams have faced a challenging start to the tournament, with NDL losing all three matches and FRE losing both matches. In their recent match against Etosha Wildcats, NDL suffered a 10-wicket defeat despite Gerhard Erasmus’s standout performance with 68 runs off 53 balls. In their previous game, FRE faced a 23-run defeat against Windhoek Jets, with Nyasha Nyashadzaishe scoring 68 runs off 44 balls and Michau du Preez contributing a quickfire 48 runs off 33 balls, highlighting their batting strength. In the bowling department, Tawanda Sithole, Christo Bronkhorst, and Pikky Ya France took a wicket each.
