Meerut Mavericks (MM) and Kanpur Superstars (KS) are set to clash in the 4th match of the Uttar Pradesh T20 League at Green Park in Kanpur on September 1. Meerut Mavericks began their campaign on a positive note, securing a two-wicket victory in their opening match. On the other hand, Kanpur Superstars faced a setback in their first game with a 16-run defeat.
In their recent encounter against Kashi Rudras, Meerut Mavericks secured a narrow 2-wicket win. Madhav Koushik’s impressive contribution of 87 runs off 52 balls was a standout performance. In the bowling department, Purnank Tyagi and Vaibhav Chaudhary played crucial roles by each claiming two wickets.
Kanpur Superstars, in their previous match, suffered a 16-run loss against Noida Super Kings. Sameer Rizvi’s 41 runs off 22 balls and Akshdeep Nath’s quickfire 32 runs off 21 balls showcased their batting prowess. Aaqib Khan and Jasmer Dhankar each played their part by contributing with two wickets in the bowling department.
