
Marsa CC will lock horns with Bugibba Blasters in the 22nd match of the ECS Malta T10 at the Marsa Sports Club in Malta on November 11. Marsa CC have played a total of two matches so far where they have won and lost a game each and are placed fourth in the points table of Group B. Bugibba Blasters, on the other hand, has played and won both their matches so far. They are present at the second place in the rankings of Group B.
Marsa CC squared off against Royal Strikers in their last encounter, where Royal Strikers won the toss and elected to bat. The Strikers struggled at the start, losing three wickets just at the score of 29 runs, and looked in trouble, but then their middle order took responsibility. With a significant contribution from Chamkaur Singh, they posted a good total of 124 runs on the board. After losing an early wicket, Marsa had a good second-wicket partnership, but unfortunately, after the partnership broke, they could not continue at the same pace and lost the game by nine runs.
Bugibba Blasters squared off against Red Stars in their last encounter, where Red Stars won the toss and elected to bat. Choosing to bat, they started aggressively but kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Tony Thomas played a quickfire innings in the middle when the scoring rate seemed to have slowed down, so they could easily post 107 runs. Blasters lost early wickets, and they lost them in a bunch but had always maintained a very high scoring rate. A couple of good contributions from a couple of players took them over the line, and they won the game by four wickets.
