Kutch Warriors (KW) and Gohilwad Gladiators (GG) are set to clash in the Final match of the Saurashtra T20 League 2023 at Saurashtra Cricket Association in Rajkot on August 31. Kutch Warriors began their campaign with a victory against Sorath Lions but faced a loss against Zalawad Royals in their next game. They rebounded by winning their following two matches, including a crucial encounter against defending champions Halar Heroes. Gohilwad Gladiators, on the other hand, started the tournament strongly with back-to-back wins, stumbled against Kutch Warriors, and then recovered by defeating Zalawad Royals to secure their spot in the finals.
In their recent victory against Halar Heroes, Kutch Warriors achieved a 40-run win, with Kevin Jivrajani’s notable knock of 56 runs off 45 balls standing out. The bowlers also made significant contributions, with Dharmendrasinh Jadeja, Parshwaraj Rana, and Kunal Karamchandani each claiming two wickets.
Gohilwad Gladiators secured an eight-run win against Zalawad Royals in their previous match. Prerak Mankad’s 44 runs off 34 balls and Siddhant Rana’s quickfire 22 runs off 13 balls showcased their batting strength. In the bowling department, Shaurya Sanandia, Yuvraj Chudasama, and Prerak Mankad each took two wickets to support their team’s victory.
