Kanpur Superstars (KS) and Gorakhpur Lions (GL) are set to clash in the 27th match of the Uttar Pradesh T20 League at Green Park in Kanpur on September 12. Kanpur Superstars have secured two wins, placing them in the 5th position on the points table. On the other hand, Gorakhpur Lions have won one match and currently find themselves at the bottom of the points table.
In their recent match against Kashi Rudras, Kanpur Superstars lost by four runs despite Rahul Rajpal’s impressive 50-run knock. Rishabh Rajput was a standout performer for them in the bowling department, taking three wickets.
Gorakhpur Lions, in their last game against Noida Super Kings, suffered a 7-wicket loss. Dhruv Jural’s 85 runs and Abhishek Goswami’s quickfire 44 runs showcased their batting prowess. Abdul Rehman contributed with two wickets in the bowling department.
