Koln Challengers will lock horns with Bayer Uerdingen Boosters in the 47th match of the ECS Krefeld T10 2023 at the Bayer Uerdingen Cricket Ground in Krefeldn on September 6. Koln Challengers have played five games where they have won three and are seventh in the rankings. Bayer Uerdingen Boosters, on the other hand, have won four of their five games and are in second place.
Koln Challengers had last squared off against Rhein-Ruhr Sports, where Koln Challengers won the toss, and they elected to bat. The Challengers started well and maintained a stable run rate even after losing a few wickets. They could not finish the way they would have wanted to but finished with a total of 104 runs. Rhein-Ruhr Sports did a good job with their chase right from the start and was always keeping up with the required run rate. They chased down the total and won the match by seven wickets.
Bayer Uerdingen Boosters had played against VFB Gelsenkirchen in their last encounter, where VFB Gelsenkirchen won the toss and elected to bat. Choosing to bat seemed to be a good decision as they looked in good flow. They did not lose too many wickets but slowed down significantly towards the end and ended up with 99 runs on the board. Boosters went all guns blazing right from the start, scoring at a rapid pace. They chased down the total and won the match by six wickets with 15 balls to spare.
