India B Under 19 Team will lock horns with England Under 19 in the 2nd match of the Quadrangular Under-19 Series at the Chukkapalli Pitchaiah Cricket Ground in Mulapadu on November 13. This is going to give good match practice for the Under 19 young players of both these teams with an expectation of display of good cricket from them.
India B Under 19 Team had squared off against Bangladesh Under 19 in their last encounter, where India B Under 19 Team won the toss and elected to bowl. Being put to bat, Bangladesh lost an early wicket but had a series of good partnerships, with Aich Mollah scoring 93. The middle order was not able to continue much, so they were able to score 234 runs on a difficult track. Indian batters had a horrible day on the pitch ahead as none of them could find their rhythm. Struggling to bat, they lost the match by a whopping margin of 181 runs.
England Under 19 had last played against Australia Under 19 in their last game, where England Under 19 won the toss and elected to field. Australia lost its first wicket on the very first ball but had a sensational second-wicket partnership. A couple of players looked in really good touch as they took the team’s total to 251. England returned all guns blazing with the bat, scoring 106 runs for the opening stand in just nine overs. They had set up the match very well for the middle-order, which they did win by four wickets with more than 10 overs to spare.
