Indatwa Hampshire CC Women (IH-W) will take on Gahanga Queens CC Women (GQ-W) in the 9th match of Rwanda Women’s T20 at Gahanga International Cricket Stadium in Rwanda on September 22. Both teams have had a strong start to the tournament. IH-W leads the points table with two wins, while GQ-W follows closely in the second spot with the same number of victories.
In their recent game against SSC-W, IH-W secured a convincing 44-run win, with Gisele Ishimwe playing a key role with 38 runs off 37 balls. The bowling department was also strong, led by Henriette Ishimwe with three wickets.
GQ-W, in their last match, won by 12 runs against CHA-W, with Belyse Murekatete contributing 35 runs off 37 balls. The bowling effort was shared, with Zurufat Ishimwe, Belyse Murekatete, and Cynthia Uwera taking a wicket each.
