The 5th match of ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier 2023 will be played between Hong Kong Women and Myanmar Women at UKM-YSD Cricket Oval in Bangi on Thursday (August 31). Hong Kong Women played in the Women’s Quadrangular series recently, while Myanmar Women played a three-match T20I series against Singapore Women, winning by a 3-0 margin. Hong Kong Women played in the final of the Women’s Quadrangular Series against Nepal Women, where they posted 101/6 on the board. Nepal Women posted 37/1 and won the match by 13 runs by the DLS method. In their last T20I outing against Singapore Women, Myanmar restricted Singapore to just 51 runs in 20 overs. Myanmar chased down the target in 11 overs and won the match by nine wickets.
