Golden Star Bonn will lock horns with Bayer Uerdingen Boosters in the 55th match of the ECS Krefeld T10 2023 at the Bayer Uerdingen Cricket Ground in Krefeldn on September 7. Golden Star Bonn have played seven games where they have won six and are third in the rankings. Bayer Uerdingen Boosters, on the other hand, have won seven of their eight games and are top of the table.
Golden Star Bonn had last squared off against Bayer Spartans, where Bayer Spartans won the toss, and they elected to bowl. Despite losing a wicket early, Golden Star did not lose back and continued to score runs at a rapid pace. With several good contributions from several players, they ended up with 135 runs on the board. Spartans, in reply, started off really well, adding 52 runs for the opening partnership, but once it broke, the batters to follow could not keep up and eventually lost the match by 30 runs.
Bayer Uerdingen Boosters had played against Koln Challengers in their last encounter, where Bayer Uerdingen Boosters won the toss and elected to bat. Boosters innings was completely dominated by one man, who hammered the opposition bowlers to bring up his century in just 32 balls and helped his team post a mammoth total of 167 runs. Chasing down such a total, Challengers did start well but could not keep up with an extremely high run rate. They lost the match by 44 runs.
