Gorakhpur Lions (GL) and Kanpur Superstars (KS) are set to clash in the 10th match of the Uttar Pradesh T20 League at Green Park in Kanpur on September 4. Gorakhpur Lions have won one game but are currently at the bottom of the points table. Meanwhile, Kanpur Superstars have also won one game and are in 4th position on the points table.
In their recent game against Meerut Mavericks, Gorakhpur Lions secured an 8-wicket win, with Yashovardhan Singh’s impressive 81 runs off 40 balls being a standout performance. Vasu Vats took three wickets, and Abdul Rehman impressed with two wickets in the bowling department.
Kanpur Superstars, in their previous match, suffered a two-wicket loss against Lucknow Falcons. Sameer Rizvi’s 69 runs off 29 balls and Saurabh Dubey’s quickfire 56 runs off 28 balls showcased their batting prowess. In the bowling department, Vineet Panwar impressed with four wickets.
