
Gujarat Cricket Club will lock horns with GAT in the 15th match of the KCC T20 Challengers Cup at the Sulaibiya Cricket Ground in Kuwait on November 11. Both these teams have had a similar track record in the tournament so far, with two losses from two matches each. They are placed fifth and sixth, respectively, in the rankings of Group B.
Gujarat Cricket Club had squared off against SBS CC in their last encounter, where Gujarat Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bowl. Being put to bat, SBS started aggressively but kept losing wickets. Lakhwinder and Beant played two good individual knocks but did not receive support from the other end and so were bowled out for 124. GCC started well but seemed to lose track as they could not find boundaries. In an interesting turn, the match got tied on the last ball, and SBS CC was declared winner by Super Over.
GAT had last played against Seazen Challengers in their last game, where GAT won the toss and elected to bat. On a good batting deck, they started off really well and scored at a rapid pace. With contributions from the whole team, they posted a good total of 173 runs. In reply, Seazen Challengers started in an even better manner and kept the runs flowing thoroughly. None of the batters scored a half-century, but with significant contributions from several batters of the team, they easily won the game by four wickets.
