Fish River Eagles (FRE) and Windhoek Jets (WIJ) are set to clash in the 4th match of the Richelieu T20 League at United Cricket Club Ground in Namibia on September 17. Fish River Eagles had a tough start, losing their opening match against the Etosha Wildcats. On the other hand, Windhoek Jets have won one match and lost another, currently holding the 2nd spot on the points table.
In their recent match against Etosha Wildcats, Fish River Eagles suffered a five-wicket defeat. Michaud du Preez’s 51 runs off 47 balls was a standout performance for Fish River Eagles. In the bowling department, Tawanda Sithole took two wickets.
Windhoek Jets, in their previous game, faced an eight-wicket defeat against Etosha Wildcats, with Jan Frylinck scoring 52 runs off 49 balls and Nikolaas Davin contributing a quickfire 35 runs off 27 balls, showcasing their batting strength. In the bowling department, Morris Kariata and Simon Shikonga took a wicket each.
