Emirates Blues and Abu Dhabi are all set to clash in the 8th match of the Emirates D20 League at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on October 16. Emirates Blues have faced a challenging start to the tournament, losing both their matches and currently occupying the bottom position on the points table. In contrast, Abu Dhabi has secured one victory and stands in the 5th position on the points table.
In their recent match, Emirates Blues faced a tough 119-run defeat against Dubai while chasing a target of 200 runs. Emirates Blues were all out for 81 runs, with Fahad Nawaz being the top scorer with 20 runs. In the bowling department, Riyaz Khaliq, Zawar Farid, and Junaid Shamsudheen each took a wicket. On the other hand, Abu Dhabi managed to win by four wickets against Ajman, with Rohan Mustafa contributing 40 runs. In the bowling department, Zia Mukhtar took two wickets for Abu Dhabi.
