The Czech Republic will be fighting against France in the 4th match of the European Cricket Championship 2023 at the Cartama Oval in Cartama on September 25. In the previous season, both the teams played eight games each, and the Czech Republic lost every one of them and thus finished last on the points table of group A. France won two of the games and ended in the second-last spot on the points table of group C.
The Czech Republic last fought with Austria in the previous season, where the Czech Republic won the toss and elected to field. MS Parker scored 45 runs, and B Khan made 55. The rest of the team couldn’t perform well with the bat and ended their innings with 105 runs. When the Czech Republic came to bat, S Davizi scored the highest runs (21), followed by R Tomar (13). They got all out on 87 runs and lost the match by 18 runs.
France last locked horns with Belgium in the previous season, where France won the toss and elected to bat. Z Ahmad scored the highest runs (22), followed by H Alodin (16). The team performed very poorly and managed to score just 68 runs for the loss of eight wickets. When Belgium came to bat, S Muhammad and A Rana scored 32 runs each and took their team to win the match.
