Chicago Patriots squared off against Carolina Eagles in their last encounter, where Chicago Patriots had won the toss and elected to bowl. Eagles started off on a very good note, with the opening partnership being 86 runs in just eight overs. However, once the partnership broke, they kind of started to lose their way out but managed to get a total of 158 runs on the board. Patriots were slow and sloppy from the start, but their middle order acted well and adapted to the situation. The match took an interesting turn as a wicket on the last ball meant the match ended in a tie. Carolina Eagles was finally declared winners of the game through a super over.
New York Cowboys played against Philies United in their last game, where Philies United won the toss and elected to bowl. Being put to bat, the Cowboys were not too great from the start. They had a rather slow scoring rate and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. With contributions from a couple of players, they managed to put up a total of 148 runs. In reply, Philies United started off aggressively and scored at a rapid pace. They lost a couple of wickets in the process but did not let the scoring rate go down. As a result, they won the game by seven wickets with more than four overs to spare.
