Carolina Eagles will lock horns with California Golden Eagles in the 18th match of the US Premier League T20 at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Lauderhill on November 18. With one win and one loss from five games, the Carolina Eagles are present in third place in the table. On the other hand, the California Golden Eagles have won and lost a game in each of their four matches and are fifth in the rankings.
Carolina Eagles squared off against NJ Titans in their last encounter, where NJ Titans had won the toss and elected to bat. The Titans lost a wicket on the very first ball of the match but went completely berserk after that. They had a stand of 144 runs for the next wicket in 13.4 overs and smashed every bowler around. With the innings coming to an end, they amassed a huge total of 209 runs on the board. After losing an early wicket, the Eagles were always playing the catching-up game. They did try and put up a good show, but they could only muster 165, hence losing the game by 44 runs.
California Golden Eagles played against Maryland Mavericks in their last game, where Maryland Mavericks won the toss and elected to bat. On a rather slower deck, the Mavericks started off aggressively scoring runs at a rapid pace, but as the game progressed, they started to slow down as well. Their middle did not perform well, and as a result, they could only score 130 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Eagles wanted to start cautiously but still lost three wickets upfront. However, a brilliant third-wicket partnership brought them back into the game, and the fourth one won them the match. With two overs to spare, they won the game by six wickets.
