Barbados Royals (BR) and Jamaica Tallawahs (JAM) are set to clash in the 14th match of the CPL 2023 at Kennington Oval in Barbados on September 1. This match will be the second encounter between these two teams in the current season, with the previous meeting being abandoned due to rain.
In their recent match against Trinbago Knight Riders, Barbados Royals faced a significant 133-run defeat. Jason Holder played a role with 14 runs off 15 balls and also contributed with two wickets in the bowling department for Barbados Royals.
Jamaica Tallawahs, in their previous match, suffered a 34-run defeat against Guyana Amazon Warriors. Imad Wasim’s 64 runs off 47 balls and Fabian Allen’s quickfire 47 runs off 25 balls highlighted their batting prowess. Mohammad Amir stood out in the bowling department, claiming three wickets for Jamaica Tallawahs.
