Brisbane Heat will face Sydney Sixers in the 49th match of the Women’s Big Bash League 2023 on Tuesday (November 21) at the Allan Border Field in Brisbane. The Heat have won seven out of 12 games and are in fourth place in the points tally. The Sixers have been victorious in five out of 12 games and are in sixth place.
The Heat defeated the Sixers in their first game this season by three wickets after chasing down the target of 147 runs in 19 overs with three wickets in hand. Georgia Voll took one wicket for 17 runs in three overs and scored 39 runs off 38 deliveries. She won the Player of the Match award.
The Heat lost their last game against Melbourne Stars by 15 runs. The Stars scored 156 runs for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs. In reply, the Heat could only score 141 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs.
Adelaide Strikers defeated the Sixers by seven wickets in their last game. The Sixers could only make 122 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs. Strikers chased down this total in 17.3 overs.
