Aachen Rising Stars will be fighting against Dussledorf Blackcaps in the 14th match of the ECS Germany, Krefeld 2023, at the Bayer Uerdingen Cricket Ground in Krefeld on August 28. Aachen Rising Stars have played three games and have won only one of them, thereby standing in the fifth position on the points table. Dussledorf Blackcaps haven’t played any game this season and would be looking forward to finding their team balance early on in the tournament.
Aachen Rising Stars last locked their horns with Bonn Blue Star, where Bonn Blue Star won the toss and elected to bowl. Aachen Rising Stars started their innings very well, with V Reddy scoring the highest runs (48), followed by F Jan (35) and U Ali-I (27). They scored 146 runs for the loss of three wickets. When Bonn Blue Star came to bat, Z Abbas-I and H Javed hit 23 runs each, which was followed by H Khan (16) and Q Rehman (13). Due to the constant fall of wickets, they ended their innings on 109 runs and lost nine wickets. Aachen Rising Stars won the match by 37 runs. A Shirzad picked three wickets, F Jan got two wickets, and E Hashmi, Z Hassan and M Inayat took one wicket each.
Dussledorf Blackcaps, on the other hand, fought with Koln CC in their last game in the previous season, where Dussledorf Blackcaps won the toss and elected to bat. K Shahab scored the highest (44) runs, followed by P Ganesan (18) and A Ahmadzai (15). They could score 116 runs at the loss of seven wickets. When Koln CC came to bat, A Deshpande amassed the highest (61) runs, which was then followed by A Zadran (27). They lost six wickets and fell short of just one run to win the match. K Shahab scalped three wickets, and M Raheel, A Ahmadzai and G Gupta picked one wicket each.
